The Scientific Approach

The Borelli Center’s unique focus is

  • to advance fundamental knowledge in neuroscience and mathematics,
  • scientific methods in modeling, simulation, and the processing of complex data, clinical approaches, and software tools.

The research effort is characterized by an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach that includes a theoretical foundation, a deep understanding of the reality of the phenomena under study (in situ observations, transdisciplinary expertise), the practical implementation of these achievements through digital technologies (industrial software, Internet platforms, mobile applications), and an approach that adheres to the principles of reproducible science.

It is located at several sites, including ENS Paris-Saclay, Université Paris Cité (Saint-Germain-des-Prés Campus), and the Armed Forces Training Hospitals HIA Bégin and HIA Percy.

Researchers at the Borelli Center are deeply committed to industrial transfer, the biomedical field, and societal transformation.
